Lufa

Description

This is fresh Angled Luffa (or Ridged Gourd), a very popular vegetable in Asian cuisine, known as "Sī Guā" (絲瓜) in Chinese. It is easily recognized by its long, green body and the sharp, prominent ridges that run along its length. The white flesh inside is soft and spongy, with a very mild, subtly sweet flavor. Its porous texture is excellent at absorbing the flavors of broths and sauces. It is perfect for stir-frying (especially with garlic or dried shrimp), braising, or adding to soups, where it becomes exceptionally tender. 此為新鮮的絲瓜，在中文裡也常因其外觀而被稱為「角瓜」。它是亞洲料理中非常受歡迎的瓜類蔬菜，以其長條狀、帶有明顯稜角的外觀而聞名。其內部的瓜肉潔白、質地鬆軟如海綿，風味清淡並帶有自然的甜味。其多孔的纖維結構非常容易吸收湯汁與醬汁的風味，無論是清炒（例如搭配蒜末、薑絲或蝦米）、紅燒，或是加入湯品中，烹煮後口感都非常軟嫩、清甜。
